JD Edwards Business Analyst (JDE)

The primary responsibility of the JD Edwards Business Analyst is to work closely with the business, sales, and shipping to determine their requirements and collaborate with the technical teams to facilitate the changes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in pre-project analysis work to enable informed decision-making about technology investments
• Facilitate business process reviews when technology requirements arise to ensure implementation goals are appropriately defined and scoped
• Design high-level process flows and provides project leadership to implement defined requirements
• Develop test scenarios and test scripts
• Triage reported defects and documented root cause analysis to avoid production support interruptions on a go-forward basis
• Create, coordinate and deliver training to ensure end-user readiness
• Serve as a member of the user support team through any go-live and stabilization cycles
• Identify business requirements and develop recommendations for process improvements and automation
• Utilize or develop processes to ensure the timely delivery of required information to customers

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience with JD Edwards
• Experience in design and implementation of JDE modules
• Successfully completed at least one full implementation involving multiple site configuration set up with proven incorporation of structured planning and testing processes
• Capable of understanding customer requirements in order to develop, present and deploy solutions based on those requirements
• Able to develop new or modify existing software solutions to satisfy business
• Effective team skills and agility to work on multiple teams and projects
• Must be able to travel via car and air when required
