COBOL/MAINFRAME PROGRAMMER ANALYST

• Location:  Remote – EST only
• Job Type:   Contract
• Job Length:  12-24 months
• Pay Rate:  $40-$55/hour

Consultant Responsibilities:
· Provide day-to-day support of the mainframe, COBOL built Warehouse Management system until Dynamics 365 WMS is implemented
· Use Cobol to build reports and extract data
· Provide integration of data via CSV files between Dynamics 365 and the mainframe WMS
· Order configuration, Batch processing

Must Have Skills:
· Candidate must have strong and current experience in a warehousing/distribution environment.  Industry knowledge of Warehouse Management is required
· Strong COBOL programming skills
· Ability to interface COBOL applications with Dynamics 365
· Light Dynamics 365 knowledge, able to provide occasional support
· Strong WMS knowledge

Nice to Have Skills:
· Experience with EasyTrieve which is used for information retrieval in a data management system for Mainframe
· Experience with GENR/LL which is used to build front end screens on mainframe systems (the screen the user in the warehouse would see for the WMS application)
