General Scope of Responsibilitie:
- The client wants someone who can extract MES data (controls) and use it in Cognos Analytics
- Design and manage data architecture for real time data storage
- Shop Floor Digital Transformation design and support
- Develop Analytics correlating real time data and ERP data
- Interface and API design for data acquisition from equipment
- Interface and API design for data acquisition from external cloud solutions
- Support interfaces and interaction of real time data and the JDE ERP System
- Support Smart equipment management solution
- Custom application design
- This position will requires travel to enterprise locations.
Experience
- 5 to 7 years of Shop floor automation experience
- 5 to 7 years of real time data acquisition experience
- Digital transformation implementation experience
- Experience designing custom applications, APIs, and interfaces for data acquisition
- Comfortable in the use of Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience with documenting Business requirements
- Proven project management skills
- Experience with Cognos Analytics
- Additional Desired Skills:
- Experience with the Oracle JD Edwards ERP system
